Strength and Conditioning Exercises

What exercises help a runner?

The Bridge -  strengthens your glute muscles (your butt) and lower core muscles

The Plank - the best core exercise - it targets them all!

Squats - activates your core and strengthen your butt and upper leg muscles

Back exercises- such as seated rows, lat pulldowns and bent over rows, all strengthen your back muscles which assist maintaining good posture and ensure your chest stays open so that you can take in plenty of oxygen while running

Why not book a PT session with a club PT to be shown how to do these exercise correctly - sessions are only $20 for a 45min consultation.

PT sessions are available either as
  •  a once only session for technique or nutritional advise
  •  regular weekly commitment to additional cross training
