Nutrtitionist Jenny Hill


Jenny Hill gave an informative talk to the Go Getta Girls that attended the workshop on Tuesday night, with lots of handouts being given to take home.

Everyone was given a nutrition information  pocket guide to assist with making wise choices when shopping for packaged foods in relation to total fat, saturated fat, sugar, sodium and fibre.

The balance between food and physical activity was discussed, along with how many serves of each food group we should eat on average, each day.

PLEASE NOTE -extra handouts are available at the clubhouse on the bench, please help yourself.  Lots of interesting reading.

The overall feeling from the night was that we should ask Jenny to come and speak regularly to the group.

Jenny generous donated an apple slinky machine to the club - bring along an apple on Saturdays and enjoy a slinky after your long run!  Big Thank you to Jenny.
