According to the GGG's who participated in this block, it was really worthwhile and enjoyable. The club members appreciated the attention given throughout the block and feel there were many benefits gained with regards to their running.
Participants each week, found Technique was broken down into individual focuses so plenty of attention could be spent on each technique area. Areas concentrated on included posture, how to relax your lower legs, core activation, relaxation and pampering techniques for your feet, how to use gravity and lean, how to peel your feet, what to do with your arms and how to work on one's mindset.
Participants each week did small technique exercises that highlighted that's week's emphasis. Simple exercises such as walking backwards - nothing too daunting or taxing!
During the last two weeks participants were video, which help them to see how they actually ran as to compared to how one thinks they run.
Tuesday block sessions will re-commence in September.
