At the last committee meeting, it was decided that the club will purchase a portable shade shelter and order a large banner to attach to this shelter to promote Go Getta Girls.
This shelter will be used at race events and as shade in our "back yard". Particularly at events it will give club members a gathering point, somewhere to leave belongings and somewhere to relax together after a run with some sun protection.
The club hopes to have it organised to use at the Gold Coast Marathon in July.
