Avoiding Colds and other Contagious Illnesses

  • Remember to carry hand santiser and use regularly to keep your hands clean from nasty germs. It's particularly helpful after shopping to cleanse your hands that have touched the trolley handle.  Try not to touch your face as you could be transferring germs from your hands to your face.  Providing easy access into your body via your mouth and nose.

  • Get plenty of sleep - eight hours of sleep a night allows your body to restore and repair.  A less stressed body can maintain a better level of immunity.

  • Eat a  wide  variety of nutritious foods each day.  Avoid processed and high sugar content foods as these products stress your body organs and can lead to increase risk of illnesses.
