Christmas Time is approaching

Celebrations, eating, drinking, relaxing, lounging about - the thought of the Christmas holidays should not fill you with dread because you think  are going to put on weight over this time.

Its' all about moderation and since you are already a runner who exercises regularly-  your resting metabolism is already high so all you need do is maintain you base of physical activity during this break.

It makes sense to balance our food intake with the rate at which our bodies use it. It's important to maintain your energy output through regular physical activity.

Simply pack your sandshoes if you are going away - enjoy running somewhere new.

Or if you are staying here simply make the decision to continue running on the days you normally do or use the break to try some new activities....

run, dance, swim, bike ride, use an exercise DVD, bush walk, do some weights, yoga, mow, garden
