The Pentath-run begins on Saturday morning with a Half Marathon that finishes at Yangan - a beautiful scenic run though a tad undulating but the fog this year hid most of the upcoming hills!
Next is a cross country at Morgan Park on the Polocrosse fields at 11:30am with the final event for Satuday being a 5k flat run from the Sandy Creek Pub.

Saturday night we were treated to a freshly prepared buffet meal by the Warwick High School Hospitality Class at the School's Sports Hall.
After a refreshing night's sleep - some of the GGG's travelled out to Kilarney for the 7:15am start for the ASCENDING 10k event. The runners in this event finish at Mary Falls - 5k's of rolling hills and then 5k's straight
up! Kerry and Colleen are Legends! ( Can I add Colleen's son, Jarred did this event in 49 mins!)

The final run on Sunday is a 1500m dash through the main street - here is where the GGG's shone - wearing their tutu's, our girls ensured the Pentath-run finished successfully bringing home the last of the runners and finishing off a traditional WOHOO and taking a final bow.

There were many highlights from the weekend including - Vicki's wonderful half finish, Julie running 30k's in one day, Donna running with Rhiannon in the cross country, seeing Lois and Wendy participating in another race event, the Gunn children collecting trophies for placing in their age categories, catching up with Kirstin (our Gold Coast GGG), meeting Burgo and Em-Jay from CFM, Coach Colleen forgetting to pack any undies for the weekend and watching Kerry fast track up the Mary Fall's Mountain ( we know why we call her the Milo Girl - she sure does just go and go and go!)
We also had a wonderful support crew this year - Lance, Wayne and Barry - its so nice to have a back up crew on the road, who can hand you extra water, take lots of photos, catch a hat or jacket when you no longer want to run with it on and to constantly hear - "keep going or well done" makes the weekend something very special! So thank you boys!
