On Tuesday night, Kerry, Vicki and Colleen attended a free workshop in Murgon. There were four guest speakers including Mike De Vere - a former Broncos and State of Origin player.
Here's are some notes from his informative session about how to maximise your performance by Goal Setting.
- WRITE down your goals - know what you want, work out how to get there. Dream BIG then work backwards, breaking your goal into manageable doable parts.
- Always keep the end in mind. Then working backwards fill in the steps to achieve the ultimate goal
- It's about having a good attitude and developing self management.
- It is about looking after yourself - eating good fuel, plenty of sleep, recovery and efficient use of time.
