Maximise your Performance - Goal Setting

On Tuesday night, Kerry, Vicki and Colleen attended a free workshop in Murgon.  There were four guest speakers including Mike De Vere - a former Broncos and State of Origin player. 
 Here's are some notes from his informative session about how to maximise your performance by Goal Setting.

  •  WRITE down your goals - know what you want, work out how to get there.  Dream BIG then work backwards, breaking your goal into manageable doable parts.
  • Always keep the end in mind. Then working backwards fill in the steps to achieve the ultimate goal
  • It's about having a  good attitude and developing self management. 
  • It is about looking after yourself - eating good fuel, plenty of sleep, recovery and efficient use of time.
  • Remember you goal - kept it in your mind and remember what you need to do to achieve
 At the end of his talk, he shared his motto and the first word was ENJOY.  Heard this before?
